TAJO: Volume Control

1 min read
Don Buitre the vulture drops a coin marked MONEY into a giant SUPER PAC megaphone. Its blast overwhelms Mina, a tiny ant holding a small horn marked VOICE.

Money buys volume. The Federal Election Commission explains that super PACs may accept unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, labor unions and other political action committees to finance independent political activity. In the Paper Republic, Don Buitre takes amplification literally. This fictional cartoon targets the unequal power to purchase political attention; it makes no claim about a particular race or unlawful coordination. TAJO / Pamphlets.

Published November 4, 2026. This is an evergreen institutional cartoon based on current FEC guidance, not an election-result report.
